He's Here!  The first of the 2011 crop of TRSW foals has arrived.  (See News Page 2 below for breeding
details.)

TRSW Fond Memories, or Fancy, delivered her first foal in the wee hours of March 24th.  Susan was in attendance for the birth.  It
was a bit of a struggle for the foal to be delivered, as he was a pretty big boy for his maiden momma, especially it seems with those
long legs of his folded up in there.  But post delivery, everything went according to the text book and momma and baby are doing just
fine.

He gets prettier with each passing day, it seems.  He's a strapping bay boy with a star and then a tear-dropped shaped blaze with
starts small at about the bottom third of his head and then spreads out to just cover the insides of both nostrils and his lips when it
gets to his mouth.  Very cute!  Add to that two hind white feet and he's quite the cute little colt. I'm sure there will be many more
photos to follow, but here are a couple of preliminary ones from his birthday.

It's Another Colt!   (See News Page 2 below for breeding details.)

Illustra Enchant, or Lillie, finally  delivered a healthy, strong colt on May 4th, 2011.  Susan had begun to dispair that she was ever
going to present this foal.  Lillie had seemed bigger and more pregnant  than Fancy did when she delivered in March.  So Susan
had been checking 2 - 3 times an evening, thinking that Lillie was going to go early, as she has in the past.  But she fooled us and
went exactly 340 days (which seems to be her recipe for colts.)  Susan was pretty sure that Lillie was in labor and so went up to the
house to tell Terry that it wouldn't be long, which turned out to be absolutely true.  By the time they returned to the foaling stall, the
front legs were already presented and the foal was born a couple of minutes later.

This is a very correct, chestnut colt with a white blaze and one white sock on his left front leg.  He looks to be as beautiful as his sire,
MI Black Ice, who is a son of Terry's former greatly-loved stallion, Serenity Terry.  It is somewhat miraculous to appreciate the
coming of a new generation and to reminisce on the wonderful memories of the horses that came before.

Training horse, CBMF Street Heat (aka  Cooper) learns to
drive.

After some ground driving and a couple of lessons dragging some shafts,
Linda Clark's 4-year-old gelding, CBMF Street Heat (affectionately known as
Cooper) was hitched to the training cart for the first time.  Cooper did wonderfully for
his first time as a driving horse.  Way to go, Cooper!

Below are some photos and a video from Cooper's first driving session.

TRSW Morgans Tops Hylee Farm Production Sale with Equinox
Attaché

TRSW Morgans would like to congratulate Gwen Nieman, of Oklahoma
City, OK, on the purchase of the park stallion Equinox Attaché.  Attaché
was purchased over the Internet during the 2011 Hylee Production Sale.
Bidding was brisk on this powerful stallion; in fact, he ended up being the
top horse sold in the sale.

Susan & Terry wish Gwen and Attaché much success in their future.
